Ministerial Regulation Amending The Big River Planning Area Rural Plan

Pursuant to Section 52 of the Community Planning Act, public notice is hereby given that the Minister of Environment and Local Government is considering the following proposed amendment to the Big River Planning Area Rural Plan Regulation-Community Planning Act:

To rezone the land having PID 20854071 and located at 405 Route 430 in Big River, as shown of the following map. This land is presently zoned R zones – Residential Zones. A portion of the land situated on the corner of Route 430 and Moore Street would be rezoned HC zones -Highway Commercial Zones to permit the development of a bulk plant for the storage of petroleum products . The remainder of the land would be rezoned LC Zones – Local Commercial Zones.

A Public Hearing concerning the adoption of the proposed amendment has been set for July 3rd, 2019 at the Best Western Hotel, 150 Main Street, Bathurst, commencing at 7:00 pm. This meeting will be held by staff of the Chaleur Regional Service Commission on behalf of the Minister of Environment and Local Government.

Written comments may be submitted to the above addresses until July 17, 2019.
